and I were not only fraternity brothers in the Burg, we were friends. We first
starting planning reunions back in 2001 along with other brothers. He had a real
passion to make each reunion the best reunion ever. We developed a special bond
which grew over the years. When we got together, wherever it was, he always wanted to call
other brothers on the phone to connect, catch up and talk about the next
reunion. When he traveled out to Pittsburgh, he always wanted to gather a
group of brothers and Waynesburg friends for dinner. These dinners became a
tradition. This was Mark, always wanting to gather a group of old friends and stay
connected. As
you all know, Mark served as our Alumni President for many years and
he really was passionate about his role. He will be missed but certainly
never forgotten. May he rest in peace. This coming reunion will be bittersweet
without his presence and it is important, for all who can, to attend this
reunion as we need to appreciate our special moments together. Our brotherhood is
like a family and we have just lost one of our special brothers. Ben
